Photos are one of the most powerful elements of your Region Online business listing — this page explains how to upload images, set a featured cover photo, reorder your gallery, and remove outdated pictures so your listing always makes a great first impression.

Why Photos Matter

Listings with photos consistently receive more clicks and customer engagement than text-only listings. A well-chosen set of images helps customers understand what to expect before they visit, builds trust in your business, and makes your listing stand out in search results and map view. Aim to add at least three photos: your storefront, your interior or workspace, and a product or service shot.

Photo Requirements

Before uploading, make sure your images meet the following specifications:
Only upload photos that you own or have explicit permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted stock photos, images sourced from other websites, or photos taken by a photographer without a license or written permission. Using copyrighted images without authorization may result in your listing being removed.

How to Upload Photos

1

Sign In and Open Your Listing Editor

Go to theregiononline.com/login-registration/ and sign in. From your account dashboard, click Edit next to the listing you want to update to open the listing editor.
2

Navigate to the Photos Section

Scroll down to the Photos or Media section of the listing editor. Here you’ll see your current photos (if any) and an upload button.
3

Select and Upload Your Images

Click Upload Photos and choose one or more image files from your device. You can select multiple files at once. Each file must be in JPG, PNG, or WebP format and must not exceed 10 MB. The images will begin uploading immediately.
4

Set Your Featured Photo

After uploading, designate one image as your featured or cover photo — this is the image that appears as the thumbnail in search results, category listings, and map view. Drag your preferred image to the first position, or use the Set as Featured option if available.
5

Reorder Your Photos

Drag and drop your uploaded images into the order you want them to appear in your listing gallery. Put your most compelling image first (your featured photo) and arrange the rest to tell a visual story of your business.
6

Save Your Changes

Click Save or Update Listing when you’re satisfied with your photo selection and order. Your updated gallery will be visible after a brief review period.
For the best results, shoot photos in natural light when possible. Step outside during the day for storefront shots, and open blinds or use soft indoor lighting for interior photos. Avoid heavy filters, blurry images, or photos with distracting backgrounds. Show what makes your business special — a signature dish, a beautifully arranged display, your team at work, or the atmosphere customers will experience.

Removing a Photo

To remove a photo you no longer want on your listing:
  1. Open the listing editor from your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Photos section.
  3. Hover over or select the photo you want to delete.
  4. Click the Remove or Delete icon (usually a trash can or X symbol).
  5. Save your changes.
Removing a photo is permanent — deleted photos cannot be recovered from the system. If you want to keep a copy, download it to your device before removing it from your listing.

Storefront Shot

Include at least one clear exterior photo so customers can recognize your location when they arrive. Shoot during daylight with your signage visible.

Interior or Workspace

Show customers what the inside looks like. Capture the atmosphere — seating areas, service counters, workshop spaces, or retail displays.

Products or Services

Highlight your best-selling products, signature dishes, or a service in action. These images drive purchase intent.

Team Photo

A friendly photo of your staff or owner adds a personal touch and helps customers feel connected to your business before they walk through the door.
