The Region Online gives business owners full control over their listing information — this page explains how to sign in to your account, find your listing dashboard, make edits to any business detail, and handle special situations like marking your business temporarily closed or removing a listing entirely.

Accessing Your Listing Dashboard

To manage your listing, go to theregiononline.com/login-registration/ and sign in with Google SSO or your email and password. After signing in, navigate to your account dashboard to see all listings associated with your account. Click on the listing you want to manage to open the editing interface.

How to Edit Your Listing

1

Sign In to Your Account

Visit theregiononline.com/login-registration/ and sign in. If you manage multiple listings, your dashboard will display all of them — select the correct one before proceeding.
2

Open the Listing Editor

From your dashboard, click the Edit or Manage Listing button next to the business you want to update. This opens the full listing editor with all your current information pre-filled.
3

Update Your Business Details

Edit any of the following fields as needed:
  • Business Name — correct any spelling or branding changes.
  • Address & City — update your location if you’ve moved or added a new service area.
  • Phone Number — keep this current so customers can reach you.
  • Website — update the URL if you’ve launched a new site.
  • Description — refresh your description to reflect new services, specialties, or seasonal offerings.
4

Update Your Business Hours

Adjust your open and close times for any day of the week. If your hours change seasonally or temporarily, update them here to ensure your open/closed status is always accurate for customers browsing the directory.
Keep your hours up to date — especially around holidays, special events, or unexpected closures. Customers rely on the hours shown in your listing to plan their visit, and outdated hours are one of the most common sources of customer frustration.
5

Change Your Category (If Needed)

Scroll to the category selector and choose a different category if your business focus has shifted. Selecting the most accurate category improves how your listing appears in filtered searches. See Categories for a full list and descriptions.
6

Save Your Changes

Once you’ve finished making updates, click Save or Update Listing. Your edits will be submitted for a quick review before the updated information appears publicly on the directory.

Frequently Asked Questions

To mark your business as temporarily closed, open the listing editor from your dashboard and look for the Status or Open/Closed toggle. Switch the status to Temporarily Closed and save your changes. Your listing will remain visible in the directory but will display a “Temporarily Closed” label so customers know not to visit. When you reopen, return to the editor and set your status back to Open.
Most edits go through a brief review process to ensure the directory stays accurate and trustworthy. In most cases, approved changes appear on your live listing within 1–2 business days. If your edit is time-sensitive — such as a holiday hour change — submit it a few days in advance. If you have an urgent update, contact The Region Online support team directly.

Removing Your Listing

If you need to permanently remove your business from the directory — for example, if your business has closed — open your listing editor and look for the Remove Listing or Delete Listing option, typically found at the bottom of the page. Confirm the removal when prompted. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to temporarily hide your listing instead, consider using the temporarily closed status described above.
Permanently removing your listing deletes all associated data, including photos, hours, and contact information. This action cannot be reversed. If you’re unsure, use the Temporarily Closed status instead.
