# Create Your Region Online Account — Free Registration

> Register for The Region Online using Google single sign-on or an email and password — then confirm your email to activate your new account.

Creating a Region Online account is free and takes less than two minutes. This page explains how to register using either Google single sign-on (SSO) or an email address and password, and what to expect during email confirmation. Once your account is active, you'll have access to personalized features across the platform including saved favorites and account preferences.

## Before You Begin

You'll need either a Google account or a valid email address to register. No payment information is required — The Region Online accounts are free.

## Registration Steps

    Open [theregiononline.com/login-registration/](https://theregiononline.com/login-registration/) in your browser. You can also reach this page by clicking **Sign In** in the top navigation from any page on the site.

  <Step title="Choose Your Registration Method">
    On the registration page, select how you'd like to create your account:

        Click the **Continue with Google** button. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen, where you'll select the Google account you want to use with The Region Online.

        After you approve the permissions, Google returns you to The Region Online and your account is created automatically — no password or email confirmation required.

        Fill in the registration form with the following details:

        * **Display Name** — The name shown on your public profile
        * **Email Address** — A valid email you have access to
        * **Password** — Choose a strong, unique password for your account

        Then click **Create Account** to submit the form.

  <Step title="Confirm Your Email Address (Email Sign-Up Only)">
    If you registered with an email address, The Region Online sends a confirmation code to the email you provided. Open that email and copy the verification code, then enter it on the confirmation screen to activate your account.

      Check your spam or junk folder if the confirmation email doesn't appear in your inbox within a few minutes. The confirmation code expires after a limited time, so complete this step promptly.

  <Step title="Access Your New Account">
    After confirming your email (or completing Google sign-in), you're signed in and taken to your account dashboard. Your Region Online account is now active and ready to use.

## After Sign-Up: Complete Your Profile

Once your account is created, The Region Online displays a **"Welcome! Complete Profile"** prompt encouraging you to fill in additional details like your contact information and preferences. Completing your profile helps personalize your experience on the platform.
